Perception

Hey guys! Hope you're having a great morning! For this post, it's going to be a bit different from my other ones. For this project, all you're going to need is a paper and pencil (doesn't have to be fancy, any pencil would work).
Materials: the sketch pad is from Michael's arts and craft: Sketch pad
If you are on a budget and want to save money, you can also use printer paper
You can use this coupon for the sketch pad, I always use this site when going to Michael's: coupons

Today, we will be working with perception. I drew an image of trees. It portrays the depth of paper by creating different size trees. Here is the final product.

I will show you the step into making this or a similar artwork using depth and shading.
Step 1: Find a spot you want to put your main focus on, for me I put my tree on the right side
Step 2: Begin creating and shading your tree to make it pop out. For the best look, shade the edges of the tree and branches
Step 3: Continue to shade until you get your desired look.
Step 4: Now, you can start to add other elements to slowly complete the art, I decided to add in a swing and some trees to create the illusion of further trees.
Step 5: Add a path way to lead to trick the eyes of the viewers

And there you have it, a perception artwork that can be framed and hung in the house. Feel free to create other artworks with perception. Thanks guys and have a great dayy!! ENJOY THE WEEKEND!
